About Ukraine International Emergency Response
The ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia has led to serious shortages of daily necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies for people stranded across Ukraine... around 6 million people have limited or no access to drinking water.
Whilst reading/watching about this may be upsetting, the real question is; how can you help Ukraine?
By donating to Good Neighbours Australia you can help the people of Ukraine. Good Neighbours Emergency Response Team has been on the ground since early March, providing transport fleeing conflict, we have already helped transport over 2,246 people to Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
Our team has also completed over 30 food distribution drops, with approximately 23,237 families benefiting. In partnership with UNICEF, we have also established 4 "child-friendly" centres in Galati and Suceava, providing educational activities and psychological support for over 2,495 children. Helping to minimise the risk of child trafficking.
And this is only just the beginning... We are putting in place long-term plans to assist and support the people of Ukraine as they rebuild their lives.
