Good Barber Project: Training for Youth in Vietnam
In partnership with Good Neighbours Vietnam, we have the opportunity to provide Barber Training for disadvantaged youth in Quang Binh, Vietnam.
Many young people in Vietnam's Quang Binh province have difficulty accessing good jobs and earning enough so their families can survive. About 90% of families in this area are from ethnic minority heritage and more than half are living in poverty.
Every young person deserves the right to earn a decent income through a stable job. This is why Good Neighbours Australia has partnered with the Good Barber Shop in Melbourne to provide hairdressing training for disadvantaged youth in Quang Binh, Vietnam.
Your generous donation will go a long way to provide a young person with the training they need to change their life and escape poverty.
$45 = Lunchtime meals for a young person each day over a month as they attend hairdressing training.
$100 = Guest house accomodation for 4 students over a month near the training centre in Hanoi city.
$200 = Tuition fees for hairdressing training over a month so a disadvantaged youth can find decent work.
$450 = Full training package for one student - which includes tuition fees, meals, lodging, and travel.
