One Family, Two Pigs Project

One Family, Two Pigs Project

Become a Good Neighbour to a community in need today

The cause of poverty is complex and diverse. That is why we focus on long-term projects to build a solid foundation for sustainable development.

The One Family, Two Pigs Project supports families, living in extreme poverty, to enter the market as small-scale pig breeders. With the provision of two black sow pigs, families can quickly generate a nutritional food source as well as an ongoing income, as pigs breed fast and produce multiple piglets each cycle. An added bonus of the program is that pigs eat food scraps and garden waste, so they are relatively cost-effective and environmentally friendly to raise.

When you give a one-time donation of $450 today, you can help provide two black sow pigs to one household in Vietnam. Lend a hand. That's what good neighbours are for.
